Mr. Schott’s formal education includes attendance at a private college preparatory high school, a Liberal Arts undergraduate program at Ohio Wesleyan University, and business school at the University of Denver, with additional graduate business studies at Georgia State University. He has obtained several professional designations and possesses licenses for real estate sales, brokerage, and appraisals in several states, arising from years of experience in a variety of professional positions and continued education.

Besides his advanced education, Mr. Schott began developing his practical knowledge of investments with a college job as a stock "runner" at a brokerage firm. Directly following graduation he started work as a commercial real estate appraiser.

Mr Schott's experience includes serving as a Director of Research for a pension fund advisory firm, an officer in the mortgage-backed securities division of a major investment banking firm in New York City, Director of Consulting for a major real estate brokerage firm and as a Regional Manager of Real Estate Valuations for an international appraisal firm. In addition to his work with SCS and WebVisers Inc., Mr. Schott presently manages several private investment portfolios; most have outperformed all major indices in the last five years.

Though presently residing in the Los Angeles, Mr. Schott was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. With his previous positions, he has also lived in Atlanta, Chicago and New York. Numerous assignments have taken him to nearly all states in the continental U.S. and Mexico.
