Geographic Realty Systems (GRS), used by Schott Consulting Services (SCS), is an extention of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) which is modified for real estate applications. It is either a free-standing system that uses proprietary and secondary data bases, or an integral part of an asset / portfolio management or enterprise system. SCS has several years of experience in this area and advises owners and institutions in ways to develop and utilize GRS in order to achieve superior returns.

The president of SCS, L. Ried Schott, has authored "System Considerations", a chapter in GIS in Real Estate released in 1998.
